Slack Video Presents : Cuts from the Fringe VI
As part of
Glimmer : 7th Hull International Short Film Festival closing party
Sunday 26th April @ The Lamp, Norfolk Street, Hull
9pm - late
To accompany the general hootenanny and shindig of the closing party, Slack Video will bring you a selection of fine films from our recent submissions, followed by all manner of music, wobbly patterns and improvised things and stuff. Wash it all down with a nice pint and a chat with someone you don't know.
Featuring : DVD Free-for-all
If you missed the submission deadline for the festival, or brought some of your work with you on the off chance, here's the place for it. After our predetermined programme has passed, we're offering you the opportunity to put your work up on the screen. Bring it along on the night, on DVD or VHS and we'll see if we can make drunk people watch it.
Films might begin at 9:30pm

Next screening :
Slack video are sort of considering trying to get this whole thing going again, like in times past, days gone by (Visit www.slackvideo.org to bask in the glory of our history). For this, we need two things : a) Films b) People to watch those films.
YOU can help.
i) Say nice things to us about how we should do more screenings again
ii) Give us films
iii) Tell other people to give us their films
Once we have a few hours of good stuff, we'll make a screening, and perhaps even make some new films ourselves.
iv) Come and watch those films
Slack Video was set up accidentally in 2003 to showcase the works of local, national and international artists, filmmakers and animators (from students to professionals) in a relaxed drinking environment in Hull.
