Slack Video Presents : Cuts from the Fringe V
As part of Glimmer : 6th Hull International Short Film Festival
Thursday 17th April @ Sailmaker's Arms, High Street, Hull 10pm - late

A splendid arrangement of cinematic sorcery from our recent submissions will be displayed in the relaxed drinking environment of the upstairs room at the Sailmaker's Arms, perhaps accompanied by the performance of live film and video works and exciting noises.

Many thanks to all participants. Thanks to everyone at Hull Film, everyone at the Sailmakers and anyone else who has contributed, assisted or attended.

Please visit www.slackvideo.org for the same information in a different font, some nice pictures, further information on events, programmes, films and submissions. myspace.com/slackvideo may work as well.

Slack Video was started accidentally in Hull in 2003, as a regular exhibition platform for short single screen video work in all its forms -  from narrative to experimental, from local to international, from amateur or student to professional, from artists, filmmakers and animators.

Over the last... almost five years... they have gathered, scraped and scrounged work from all over the world for exhibition within numerous venues and events in Hull, and spread the work of Hull based moving-image-folk around the world in return (it only seemed fair).

Slack Video is currently loosely held together by Keith Bianchi, Gary McKeown and Andrew Quinn.
