A selection of works from Short Circuits spring touring programme.
shown as part of Short Circuits meets Slack Video's 6th Triannual Review

Short Circuits
Pressing play since 1999

Sinister! Macabre! Shocking! Terrifying! Tulips may be springing and birds singing in the trees, but Short Circuits has been seized by a dark spirit of horror. This Spring we're showing Monsters, Robert Morgan's funny, unsettling story of a young boy growing up next to Broadmoor, Ten Steps, a nerve shredding tale about what happens when the fuses blow and the lights go out, and three strange and wonderful new animations by Yorkshire film maker David Firth*. But just so that everyone can sleep at night, we'll end the evening with the totally fantastic, Oscar nominated Two Cars One Night about two ten year olds wait for their parents to come out of the pub.

Also toured at :

Wednesday 27th April - The Forum, Sheffield

Monday 2nd May - The Packhorse, Leeds (Short Circuits meets Monitor)

Thursday 5th May - Media Centre Café Bar, Huddersfield

Monday 9th May - The Lamp, Hull (Short Circuits meets Slack Video)

*David Firth's Films not included in Short Circuits section of Screening in Hull, as several of his works were already in the screening.
