Without an overall theme to the set of works, Slack Video have selected this programme to showcase the diverse variety of short film and video works produced by Hull based artists and filmmakers over the past few years.
There is a mixture of old and new works, ranging from amateur to professional, from traditional narrative to cinematic art and from the often repeated works of past programmes to the premiere showing of new films.
The screening moves constantly between these styles, but somehow seems to fit together, with works varying from the atmospheric, the emotional and the thought provoking to the system-led, audio-led and structural works.
