Director: Karin Kihlberg Location: UK Website:http://www.karinkihlberg.com Info: Karin Kihlberg was born in Sweden and lives and works in Birmingham. In 2004 she initiated a residency in Stockholm to continue the development of the performance I Am Karin Kihlberg. She was awarded a professional development grant by Arts Council England to realise the project. Kihlberg graduated in 2002 from UCE in Birmingham and alongside exhibiting her work nationally and internationally, runs Springhill Institute project space in collaboration with Reuben Henry. Recent exhibitions, performances and screenings include: Super 8 Brrr, Barcelona Cultural Studios, LOOP00, Barcelona; LUX Open, Royal College of Art, London; Mead Gallery, curated by Juneau Projects, Warwick Art Centre; Public Notice, The Distance Between Us, commissioned by Capital Arts, Birmingham; Saltburnartists, curated by Ray White, Saltburn; Brain Jelly - Live Art Showcase, curated by AAS, Birmingham; French Embassy, Stockholm, curated by Per Hüttner; and I am Karin Kihlberg, performed in Stockholm by Anna Lundquist.
