Director Information

Director: Sarah Carne Location: UK Website:http://www.sarahcarne.co.uk Info: Sarah Carne is based in London and studied MA Fine Art, Goldsmiths College, London; HND Documentary Photography, Stockport College; and BA English and Drama at The University of Manchester. Recent exhibitions include: Are You In Love Yet? Arts Center, St Petersberg, Florida; and East End Academy, Whitechapel Art Gallery, London. Carne spent much of 2004 touring her solo show I Love My Yugo between galleries at the Liverpool Biennial (static and Open Eye Gallery), London (1 000 000 mph, Keith Talent Gallery, Jeffrey Charles Gallery, Cell Project Space, MOT) and Manchester (Castlefield Gallery and Cornerhouse). Passengers were carried in her letraset customised Yugo whilst watching the film of the title on in-car DVD players.
